IThe Swedish Missions Council (SMC) has provided an emergency aid package of nearly 1 million swedish krona.

What we are doing

In full cooperation with the local authorities and with our partners we have identified an initial 2,300 familes in need of help. Basic food stuff and roofing materials will be provided based upon the need of the faimily.

Distribution begins Friday 12 September. Each community has different needs.

The people are not just waiting.

They are repairing damaged roads, by hand, to make it possible for the outside to reach them. They are helping each other clean up and rebuild with what they have.
